RICA PERALEJO started in showbiz as a child actress. She starred in ABS-CBN's "Ang TV" which is a children's variety show. Rica then transferred to teen oriented shows like "TGIS" and "Gimik".
Rica also starred in many TV primetime shows like "Mula Sa Puso", "Marinella", "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay", "OK Fine Whatever", "Sa Piling Mo" and "Pangarap Na Bituin". Rica Peralejo is currently hosting in the Kapamilya Network's morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" with her co-hosts Edu Manzano, Bernadette Sembrano and Donita Rose.
With a beautiful face and sexy body, Rica Peralejo ventured into sexy films such as "Balahibong Pusa", "Tatarin", "Dos Ekis" and "Hibla". Those movies earned Rica the title "Bold Queen" of Philippine movies. With her popularity as a bold star, Rica Peralejo was also called "Ang Bagong Pantasya ng bayan" which was originally given to Joyce Jimenez (Pantasya = Fantasy). Aside from that title, she was also given the title "Horror Queen" when Peralejo ventured into horror movies such as "Spirit of the Glass", "Dilim", "Kutob", Matakot Ka Sa Karma" and "Tiyanaks". In fact, in 2009, she is also casted in another horror film "Villa Estrella".
Aside from the hectic schedule, Rica Peralejo still finds a time for her first love, singing. Rica released her album "Ikaw Pa Rin At Ako" where it produced the monster hit song "Fallin". She also sang the soundtrack of the movie "Sa Huling Paghihintay". Her last album was "Bollywood Fever" which is also a hit among music lovers.
Rica has been linked to different male celebrities but it's her relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend (Pastor Joseph Bonifacio) that makes colors. In fact, as of this writing, Rica Peralejo and boyfriend Joseph Bonifacio already plans for their wedding sometime in 2010.
